Peppers
2010/11/01

There are lots of interesting and exotic peppers at the market right now. From left to right: basque fryers, ???, aji amarillo, golden cayenne, habanero, red bell. All are from Happy Quail Farms, except the golden cayenne (which is awesome) from Tierra Vegetables. Both of those producers have tons of other interesting peppers available right now, and since it's the end of the season, there are some good deals to be found.

Wow, it's amazing that you were able to find fresh aji amarillo! I'm so jealous! The best I can get are frozen ones, which truth be told, aren't horrible, but I don't think I've ever had the good fortune to stumble across fresh ones. :-P Lucky lad!
