« Two EatFoo/LazyBear Dishes on 10/17 Menu at Mission Street Food | Main | Two More Seats for November Lazy Bear »

Mission Street Food went well on Saturday, aside from some delays prior to service that I'll learn from. I think I sold about 35-40 pork belly dishes and maybe 30 chocolate-orange desserts. I'm going to consider that October's Lazy Bear. I'm now announcing November's.

The date of the next Lazy Bear will tentatively be Thursday, November 19, and the tentative menu is pictured at right, and in text below. Price will be $50 for food, $20 for beer pairings, and/or $30 for wine pairings. Eight spots available. RSVP to david AT lazybearsf d0t com with the following information: 1) the number of people in your party; 2) the number of beer pairings; 3) the number of wine pairings; 4) any allergies of any members of your party; 5) any strong dislikes of any member of your party (which I will try to work around).

Also, Jeanette will be out of town for this one, so please let me know if you'd like to be the waiter/waitress for the night. Tentative menu:

LIME
Thai Flavors

TURKEY POT PIE

RAW SCALLOP
Scallop Bacon

SHRIMP CHORIZO

Hey,

I'm a fan of using eventbrite to coordinate events like this. I did a cooking class/dinner party last Sunday for my b-school classmates and just threw tickets onto eventbrite. Made it really simple to organize and I was able to make sure I got paid upfront.

Menu looks TERRIFIC. I'd seriously consider flying up from LA just for the dinner (oh yeah, to visit old friends too.)

Jai, thanks. I knocked this menu out in about 15 minutes, so I'm glad to hear that it sounds good. We'd love to have you, even from L.A. Make sure we have seats left before you book! Currently we have 8/10 seats reserved for November.
