Apparently it is now politically incorrect to say that a particular family, socioeconomic group, or continent is suffering from "hunger." People who may not know where their next meal is coming from are not hungry, or starving, they are now "food insecure."
For instance, I am usually food insecure for lunch by 11:00am, but suffer through self-doubt until lunch time at noon.
