As a celebratory response to the unvieling of eatfoo (right?) Scientific American has dedicated this week's Science Talk podcast to ice cream science. In an interview with ice cream scientists from Ben and Jerry's, Steve Mirsky discovers just what ice cream is made of, why the freezer door is the worst place to store ice cream, and why making low-carb ice cream is a bitch.

Not surprisingly, the interview is delightfully scientific.

Make sure to stick around for the current event quiz at the end of the podcast. It's worth it just to hear the "totally bogus" soundclip.
