Pimp My Foo
2006/05/27

The world of food, and particularly of internet food culture, is a bizarre one. Technology encourages people to take food to places it hasn't gone before. Actually, that may be a bit far reaching. At best, until we grow as a community (and by that I mean the EatFoo community), all that technology is encouraging people in the internet food culture scene to do is to pimp our foods, and to pimp them hard. To the uninitiated, this just means make it bigger. Let us pray the pimp's prayer featured in Aaron Mcgruder's groundbreaking television series/political comic strip The Boondocks.

Let us pray the Pimp's Prayer. Lord, please pray for the soul of this bitch and guide my pimp hand and make it strong Lord, so that she might learn a hoe's place.

Furthermore, if you don't want to pimp your snack, you can always test your might by trying to name that candy bar. It is way harder than you think it would be to pick a candy bar cross section out of a lineup, and I could barely get any of these. It makes me realize how much every candy bar is basically the same thing, although they do taste very, very different. My personal favorite? Easily the Take 5. But I digress; more on that later.
