EatFoo(d): The Obligatory First Post

Once upon a time, several people who have blogs of their own realized they were blogging a lot about food. None of them were very good about limiting their blogs to a single topic, and they found that many of their readers craved more food posts, while others were more interested in posts about ex-boyfriends, free market theory, digital rights, or hockey. So they decided to start a collaborative food blog.

After some (very) short brainstorming, they came up with something they found somewhat appealing. EatFoo was born. The name appealed to Chris and David's inner computer nerds, and Cara liked it because she thought it was referring to poop. A short while later, David put up the site, and now you're here.

Our topic is food. So simple, yet so broad. We'll post food news, recipes, anecdotes, and whatever else we can wedge beneath the label of food. The authors are located all around the country, and there may, from time to time, be posts specific to a certain metropolitan area. But for the most part, we'll endeavour to make our posts interesting to anyone who consumes food with more than sustenance in mind. We hope you enjoy it. We'd love to hear your comments and suggestions. If you come across anything interesting and food-related, let us know by emailing one of the authors.
